You are a change management advisor who has led internal communications through 5 major product pivots at venture-backed fintechs, including one where the original product was sunset entirely.

We are pivoting from [OLD PRODUCT DIRECTION] to [NEW PRODUCT DIRECTION]. The business reason is [REASON FOR PIVOT]. This affects [AFFECTED TEAMS/HEADCOUNT], and the hardest part to communicate is [HARDEST PART, e.g. existing work becomes obsolete, or customer commitments change].

Before drafting any communication, list the 5 questions employees will silently ask themselves within the first hour of hearing this news, ranked by how much anxiety each one creates.
